Humans are long gone. Darkness falls across a wrecked, mechanized landscape, and the night robots come out to party. Robots making music for robots. But after all the lightning and the grinding gears trying to scratch that itch they can't reach, the robots remember something of the music their masters used to make.

It just occurred to me how much this album reminds me of the Goldeneye 64 soundtrack.

With regard to the cover, if you look around there are a few photos from the shoot which the cover comes from. It appears that Ben is hanging from some sort of veternary apparatus which is normally used to hang horses upsideown with their legs all together in a hogtie like fashion. i really dont know the use of such a bizzare and cruel looking device, but it does speak the desperate violent sadness of all his work. Very animal anger.

"badly lit scrawny man hanging upside down" - funny. I think that's actually Mr Frost. Even funnier is his wiki photo, looks like the bloke that's usually left last at big outdoor multi day music festivals wandering around in nothing but a blanket claiming he's jesus. It's been argued there's a link between insanity and genius though, which may account for why this album is so bloody intense in parts, all good though, and even better revisiting.
