"6 Inch" is the fifth track from Beyoncé's sixth studio album, Lemonade. It features Canadian singer The Weeknd.
The song uses six inch heels as a symbol of wealth and power. Beyoncé has worked hard for the success she has in life and feels she is not only worth it, but should flaunt it. The motif of the empowerment of women is found quite often in Beyoncé's songs and the use of heels as a symbol of power and success further push this ideal.
In the visual accompaniment for Lemonade, Beyoncé is pictured with a red monochromatic filter, riding through the city in luxury, dancing in 6 inch heels and strutting through a burning house wearing beautiful lace.
