In the midst of announcing dates for the ‘Renaissance World Tour’, Beyoncé released the first official remix of her hit song “CUFF IT” via her website on February 3, 2023 titled; “CUFF IT (WETTER REMIX)”, which is a slower and sensual remix, to which she themes the mood to the boudoir. The remix interpolates Twista’s beat from his 2009 hit single “Wetter”.
The remix first surfaced as a mashup by DJ Esentrik that gained popularity on social platforms such as TikTok. Beyoncé recut her vocals and tapped into Twista’s signature flow during an extended third verse.
