EDM group Big Gigantic’s “All of Me” marks their first collaboration with ROZES and Logic.
Logic confirmed via Twitter that this song marked “the return of Nikki”—the personification of his nicotine addiction, which he explored on the "Under Pressure" track "Nikki.”
Here, Logic reflects on his experience with nicotine. He promised himself he’d quit smoking upon the release of his debut album, but unfortunately he wasn’t able to quit cold-turkey, only truly quitting in November ‘15 (this track was recorded in May '16, according to his assistant’s documentary of the songs recording.) Logic now substitutes Toothpicks for cigarettes.
"I made the beat for “All Of Me” a couple years ago and played it for Logic when I first met him at one of his shows here in Colorado. Fast forward to last winter I was in NYC working with Rozes and she came up with this incredible hook on the spot for this tune. It was magic. We got in the studio with Logic a few months later and he came in and knocked it out of the park and took the song to a whole new level."
