Biography
Blicq is a swedish electronic downtempo band that has existed since the year of 2003 and consists of Anders Ekman and Ylva.
Anders and Ylva began to collaborate in 2003 and started the Blicq project. They write and produce all material together and work on their project during long, soft evenings in the suburbs of Stockholm. The inspirational sources are industrial sounds mixed with the softness of ambient downtempo drums and the beauty of fragile sounds, The Blicq project is in the beginning of its journey, having yet many songs to produce.
Their music is influenced by everything in life, from great horrors to the bright daily moments such as subwaysmiles. Industrial sounds mixed with the softness of our lives, old synthesizers with funny buttons, improvisation, our loved ones, beats from the streets, the past and what might be the future. Many groups has inspired us in various ways. Some of the influences appear amongst our myspace friends, old and new acquaintances.
