Biography

The first Portuguese rock band to achieve gold sales status in its homeland by singing in English, alternative rockers Blind Zero came together in the early '90s. Their debut EP, Recognize, was released in 1995 and became a collector's item since it sold out so quickly. Their debut album, 1995's Trigger, partnered the band with Jane's Addiction/Alice in Chains producer Ronnie S. Champagne. Flexogravity from 1996 found the band flirting with hip-hop, while Transradio from the same year was an acoustic affair. One Silent Accident from 1999 was recorded with indie rock producer Don Fleming, and was heralded by critics. The band's cover version of David Bowie's "Heroes" became an unofficial anthem for the Euro 2002 Soccer Championship. A year later, A Way to Bleed Your Lover would add another successful and revered album to the band's discography. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide

In 2007 they release "Time Machine - Memories Undone", an acoustic live album with their greatest hits and a special cover of Drive.

With their upcoming album, “Luna Park”, Blind Zero do not conclude a period, they break into a new path, always changing for the unexpected. In April, Blind Zero released “Luna Park”´s first single: “Slow Time Love”.
