Thisted, Thisted Municipality, North Denmark Region, Denmark
Danish Power Trio, formed 2002 in Thisted, Denmark. Original line-up consisted of Martin J. Andersen, Jesper Bunk and drummer Benjamin Hove. This line-up released the band's debut album, "Manifesto", in April, 2003. Hove was replaced by Anders Hvidtfeldt in August, 2003. In 2004, the band contributed the track "Politiker" to the danish "Christiania Forever" compilation CD. The band's new album, "Freedom's Calling", was released on August 1st, 2008. A reissue of "Manifesto", with new artwork and 3 bonus tracks, was released at the same time. Both CD's are available from www.grooveyardrecords.com . Andersen and Bunk can also be heard on George Clinton's 2005 album, "How Late Do U Have 2 B B 4 U R Absent?".
