Only liked the first two tracks really - Ares and Mercury, and One Month Off. The rest sounded generic. But the album after this one is WAY better. In my humble opinion.

Ares is a great opener in my opinion, it's hectic, abrasive (I see this as a good thing in this context) and original. Album is a masterpiece and more varied and innovative than their other albums (which I also love).

my favourite bloc party album. can't stand the other ones. although there are some songs i don't really like, the highlights make up for it. i mean, ion square, better than heaven... just brilliant.
