“Union City Blue” is a song by the American rock band Blondie from their fourth studio album Eat To The Beat. It was written by bassist Nigel Harrison and vocalist Debbie Harry. The song is about Debbie's New Jersey roots as well as her experiences acting in the 1980 movie Union City.
“Union City Blue” reached number 13 on UK charts in 1979 and was not released as a single in the US.
The song was featured in the movies The Hand and Margot at the Wedding.
An instrumental version of the song was included on Blondie’s first archival project Against The Odds: 1974 - 1982.
