Is the same cover art as the album by Alec Empire from 1995: ''Hypermodern Jazz 2000.5''

This album really is a riff wormhole. Especially that last track. Great stuff!

I feel like it's still kind of dumb. Like, you really couldn't think of anything else?

Explanation from the band: As far as the Agony "issue" is considered, of course we knew. We've been around a little now. A couple of factors to consider here. First, the Agony cover is grossly manipulated. So much so that the band credits the singer for the cover art, not Pennington. Pennington scanned the original art for us for this release. The gatefold jacket will show even more. Plus this was used 25 years ago by a band that most didnt know til yesterday. Second, Paul is very meticulous and he loves to pay homage. This is the band's second album. Most know he is a huge MA fan. The second MA album contains art which was used a couple of times including just three years earlier than their release by Hexenhaus. This is Paul's Easter egg, more or less. Source: https://forum.metal-archives.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=125177
