Way overhated, I enjoy this record greatly, and Perfect Water and Spy in the House of Night are amongst my all-time favourite BÖC-tracks. Though I will admit that few tracks are honestly pretty bad (namely Make Rock not War and When the War Comes), this is honestly a very good listen overall.

Totally agreed and those two tracks are the only ones that I don't enjoy that much as well. I think Madness to the Method is also a really awesome final track

A better album than Revolution, a killer guitar solo on Shadow Warrior, and White Flags, Perfect Water, Spy in the House at Night and Madness to the Method would sound great on any album. What ways this album down are the rest of the tracks. Make Rock Not War, Beat em Up and When the War Comes are tragically bad songs, and Dancing in the Ruins comes off much better live.

All you need from this album: White Flags / Dancin' in the Ruins / Perfect Water / Madness to the Method -- The rest is pretty bad.

This is the first BOC album I fell in love with. I first bought the Workshop of the Telescopes compilation and fell in love with the song Perfect Water so eventually this was the first full length LP I checked out from them. Still love it years later. Not a dud track on it.

Arguably their weakest album, but every now and then I get it off the shelf. It just feels like it didn't age too well. Some catchy tunes, but it feels a bit empty. Guilty pleasure at its finest. Still, never start here if you're getting into BÖC.

IMHO, the quality in Club Ninja is more cohesive than their previous effort, The Revolution by Night. I appreciate the production -- it's of its time. White Flags and Madness to the Method are fine bookends to the album.

I've been trying to revalue this recently. Madness To The Method, Perfect Water, White Flags and Dancin' are all excellent. Spy In The House Of Night is a bit flawed, but I think if you remove the absolutely appalling Beat 'Em Up and Rock Not War you get a pretty consistent album.
