Blues Section (1967-8) is considered to be the first Finnish band that could have hit it internationally. The band was formed by an English-born singer Jim Pembroke, guitarist Hasse Walli, bass player Måns Groundstroem, saxophonist Eero Koivistoinen and drummer Ronnie Österberg. Blues Section's music was influenced by The Who, Cream and Jimi Hendrix Experience. The most known song of the band is probably Hey Hey Hey.
