"It wasn't just the baby that died that day. Something inside Sick Boy was lost and never returned. It seemed that he had no theory with which to explain a moment like this... nor did I. Our only response was to keep on going and 'fuck everything'. Pile misery upon misery, heap it up on a spoon and dissolve it with a drop of bile, then squirt it into a stinking, puerile vein and do it all over again."

dat bass line. And the demo is good but this one was recorded so much better, and I like the 'swing' this bass line has.

Party - i actually would've agreed with you when i very 1st heard this song. I didn't understand the point of the pounding at first... but then i realized later, that's what makes it so darn hypnotic & mesmerizing. & now i wouldn't have it any other way :) This song is perfection!!!!

This song could have used an actual drumbeat. Dave's constant pounding at the snare just makes it sound a bit shapeless to me, which is disgraceful considering the rest of the song is so good.
