A pretty great album from these guys. Not quite as good instrumentally as The Discovery imo (Jason really really pulled his weight on that album), but FUCK ME there are some sexy melting synths layered thick on top of some of these songs. This album has some of their best break-downs as well. Pretty solid release!

One of the best albums in this genre ... this band has a good creativity to be different from other bands in this genre ..

The rhytm guitar work it's so boring... I mean, yeah, in The Discovery it was pretty much the same thing, but at least the leads were interesting and the changes were catchy, but almost everything in this new album is just generic Deathcore with lot of keyboards, songs that are worthy filler material, that's all. (Still, there are pretty cool songs) [2]

My thoughts on the album is that this is a successful realization of what they were trying to do on A Higher Place. BoO had a very distinctive sound that they established in The New Reign. In A Higher Place, it felt like they were trying to do something a little more "deathcore" than their previous album. It's a great deathcore album, but it doesn't sound like BoO. The Discovery went back to the original formula from The New Reign, being a somewhat more "fun" album with the classic BoO feel to it. Tomorrow We Die Alive feels, to me, like a darker deathcore album that still sounds like BoO. Don't get me wrong, I love A Higher Place, but the first time I listened to it I thought, "Well this is great, but it doesn't really sound like them at all." I feel like this new album is a nice mixture of the weight and impact of A Higher Place and the classic BoO sound of The New Reign and The Discovery.

definitely not disappointed [2] but this album is not as "ambitious" as AHP / The Discovery. some killer singles, though
