Lyrically I think that first part is a pretty perfect description of feeling depressed

Whenever I listen to this song I just have to repeat it. Awesome, one of my top 5 BN songs <3 My only issue is that it's too short :'(

I just don't understand how I get chills EVERY time the break after "I'm a word that no one ever wants to say" starts. Just stunning.

what the fuck is that kid saying Jesse, how intentionally vague are we trying to be here. I used to think the intro was hella cheesy but the second part of the song, dang

And we sing this morning that wonderful and grand old message. I don't know about you but I never get tired of it Number 99: just as I am.

Never again... Never again... I love you so much, but do me a favor, baby, don't reply 'Cause I can dish it out, but I can't take it.

"Well if we take all these things and we bury them fast And we'll pray that they turn into seeds, to roots and then grass It'd be all right, it's all right, it'd be easier that way Or if the sky opened up and started pouring rain Like he knew it was time to start things over again It'd be all right, it's all right, it'd be easier that way"

If this song was a minute or so longer, it would probably be one of their best. But as soon as I started getting into it, it ended. =/

This song is prophetic. This song is life, and I shouldn't even be saying that phrase because I don't want to be the "scene girl" who attributes whatever vague belief she's already predispositioned to as the greatest thing ever. "Well if we take all these things and we bury them fast And we'll pray that they turn into seeds, to roots and then grass It'd be all right, it's all right, it'd be easier that way Or if the sky opened up and started pouring rain Like he knew it was time to start things over again It'd be all right, it's all right, it'd be easier that way" This is the parable of the sower. And it's something I've had to tangle with for years on end.
