Brighten Up is an experimental duo from Chicago whose music can be described as dancable soundscapes over tribal rhythms.
Droning sonic waves often provide the foundation for their tracks which are made oddly urgent through a mix of electronic, acoustic and world percussion sounds.
Live loop construction and constant switching of instruments midsong leads to layers of guitar swells, reverby dual vocals and fuzzed out ambience.
