Brother Octopus is a Canadian alternative rock band formed in 2011 by Brother Octopus (vocals, guitar, drums, keyboard) and Lady Friend (vocals, tambourine). The band is based in Edmonton, Alberta, and has a playful and experimental approach to music. The band’s songs are often inspired by pop culture, animals, science fiction, and humor, and feature catchy melodies, synth sounds, and energetic rhythms.
