Biography

After years of studio work playing sax and flute on over 20 major label releases for such artists as Al Stewart, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Steve Martin and others, Bryan Savage is now building a strong following across the country as a solo artist on national radio charts and in his live performances with his dynamic 5-piece band, (which is made up of some of the best players in the country), and his unique solo performances which, using the latest in digital technology, sound like a full band!

Bryan has toured the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Canada with Al Stewart, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Amazing Rhythm Aces and John Denver, and has opened for Bonnie Raitt, Mick Fleetwood, Santana, Glen Frey, Eddie Money, Journey, Gary Burton, Rick Braun, Chuck Mangione, and many others. Additional credits include a gold record for his sax work on the number one-selling Steve Martin hit single "King Tut" and national TV appearances on Solid Gold, The Midnight Special, and the Merv Griffin Show.

In 1992, Bryan recored his first nationally released solo CD, entitled "Bryan Savage", followed by three more successful national releases under his name on the Elation Artists label, including the highly acclaimed "Catfood", produced by trumpet star Rick Braun, which became a #2 single on the national jazz radio charts in 1996.

In 1997 Bryan signed with major label Virgin Record's Higher Octave Music, and is currently enjoying his greatest success to date with the release of his new CD "Soul Temptation", produced by Rick Braun, William Aura and 3rd Force, and Bryan.

"Bryan is currently performing around the country promoting his latest album "Rush Hour" , and preparing for his next CD release due out next summer."
