Hiroshima, Hiroshima, Japan
Chicken Bowels were a Japanese hardcore punk band hailing from Hiroshima. They played a fast and angry style of thrashy hardcore. They were a more melodic band than their contemporaries at the time, with emotion filled vocals, lead guitars and solos. The band released one 7" EP, and were featured on three compilations. They are just one example among the many amazing Japanese hardcore/punk bands that fell into obscurity with a very limited discography.
