Biography
Calmcorder is a musical project which contains compositions written, performed and produced by Rune Hoemsnes. Take elements from different musical genres and mix these soundscapes together with melody, noise and slow tempo. You then have the basic idea of the calmcorder sound.
The project has no basic line-up as the music deserves a wrapping that fit each song itself. Beyond this Kirsti Huke is present with her voice on most of the tracks. The composer has worked as a professional musician for several years (the 3rd and the mortal, Manes ). Many years of experience with recordings and musicianship, gives the composer the possibility to take control over the musical process as a whole. Doing everything from field recordings, instruments and production in order to express his own sound universe.
