Biography
CALOR POLAR nace como DUO-POP-ELECTRO-DANCE el 2007 en Santiago de Chile. Inspirados en diversas músicas de entre los 80 y los 2000, crean esta serie de canciones por el productor Sebastián Piga, saxofonista ex integrante de la banda ochentera Upa!, y la voz de Lupita Becker, cantante, pianista y musicóloga. Con el primer videoclip de la canción que les dio su nombre original, el dúo alcanza las pantallas de MTV, ViaX y una buena crítica por parte de los medios especializados.
En concierto: Juan Patricio Fuenzalida (Anachena, Christianes) y James Ho Frazier (Joe V., Nicole, Pequeño Vicio).
POP - ELECTRO - DANCE DUET formed in 2007 in Santiago de Chile by music producer and saxophone player of the ex band Upa! Sebastián Piga, and Lupita Becker, singer, pianist and musicologist. The first videoclip went to MTV channel.
They invited in 2008 their close friends Juan Patricio Fuenzalida (drummer) and James Ho Frazier (bass) to perform at several venues in chilean noted clubs and concert halls; critics and media reacted with accolades & good reviews to their first live tour, as crowds cheered the lively, energetic, shining, new born sound the band delivered on stage.
