Capital City Goofball is the collaboration of Jakarta-based musicians Andreas George (vocals), Ezra Damara (guitar), Hardika Gutama (guitar), I Gde Prama (bass), and Akbar Erlangga (drums), The boys came together
in 2018 with the goal of playing emotive tunes in the of their favorite bands such as The Story So Far, Knuckle Puck, and Trash Boat. As their music tastes grows, they begin to write and express their emotions by com-
bining various sonic elements of midwest emo, math rock, pop-punk, hardcore, and post-rock. Capital City Goofball latest release “Alienated” is a pop-punk recordwith guitar twinkies and midwest-emo nuances. In this single, They are
trying to portray the feelings of someone that is alienated from their environment. Along with the single, they also released a music video as a visual representation. This single, along with “Populist” is a set of songs that will
be included in their full-length album that Capital City Goofball is currently working on.
