There are three different bands named Capitals:
The first is a melodic hardcore band from Leeds, England.
www.croon.co.uk have described their debut EP as being "…a fine example of melodic hardcore, actually being, well – melodic. The ambient sections are nicely received and add a bit of depth to the record, which overall is well conceived and well executed" and the Leeds Scenester describes their first release as follows "Listening to the newly released EP from Leeds based five-piece melodic hardcore gang Capitals, you have to slap yourself hard into believing that these guys have only played a tiny handful of gigs around the Leeds area, and recorded the self titled EP completely off their own backs.
With such detailed attention to the sound production of each track, this sits right beside many current, more mainstream, bands’ efforts and goes above and beyond being a “typical” hardcore release. Effortlessly mixing a melodic approach with a skin ripping 20-minutes of blast beats, breakdowns and terrifying vocal assaults, Capitals know how it’s done, and they do it properly."

Another hails from Edinburgh in the UK. Here is their description.
"Capitals is the name given to the musical partnership of Angus Carbarns and Keir MacCulloch. Both hailing from Inverness (ish) and currently based in Edinburgh, the two have both been previously involved with various musical endeavours, with Keir releasing electronic music under the name Araya, and Angus performing in such local bands as Theatre Fall, and The Cinematics. This new project is still in what some would describe as the embryonic stage, having not yet released anything or even played a gig. However the strength of the material that has surfaced is enough to give them enough time to breathe. Their music fuses wistful melodies and engaging lyricism with a potent mix of organic and electronic sounds to create songs that are as soaring and atmospheric as they are punchy and interesting"
THE LIST
The third is from Chicopee, Massachusetts. This band is a relatively new band, and have not released too much info about themselves. They have a self titled EP that was released on the 1st of May in 2010.
