Since its conception, Electronic music has been synonym of innovation; but what happens when innovation goes through revival? Being able to envision the future looking at your past isn't always an easy task. In this context, the roots and talent of an artist like carbeau offer great opportunity. As a Rio de Janeiro grown, Italo-French artist, it is impossible not to reference the origins when discovering any craft.
After two years touring in the US with The Lemon Twigs, opening for Arctic Monkeys, performing with MARO and producing with mokina, carbeau is unveiling a sophisticated example of his musical intelligence with his debut single Mare Nero, where he associates Gregorian chants with tropical warmth.
In perfect balance between his imagination and experience, carbeau delivers with this first solo project a fascinating and a true testimony of his past, divided by a sea that he so easily describes.
