Imagine Brooklyn Ny and the, drug riddled, gang invested, shark bitten people that come form there. Now imagine a kid coming from there but spending half of his life in South America. At 15 he finds himself in a group home, at 19 he finds himself at the top of the world starring in commercials for Nike, Ipod and Reebok as a fashion model. These are just parts of the story that make Carlos St. John a phenom rapper. His story is what he raps about, He constructs verses like a poet and creates choruses as if he were an orchestra all himself. All the while running an independent label, The St. John Portfolio. This is rap music, new rap music.
