“Boy Problems” is the sixth track and fourth single on Carly Rae Jepsen’s third album, "E•MO•TION".
It was released as the fourth official single on April 8th, 2016.
The song features a spoken intro from singer-songwriter Sia, who co-wrote the song with Jepsen along with Greg Kurstin and Tavish Crowe.
Many young girls look up to Carly because she’s a famous popstar. However, Carly wants her fans to know that she too is an ordinary girl who deals with boy problems. Perhaps this is one way she uses to connect with her fans to let them know she’s a regular girl, with regular issues, just like them.
