“Emotion” (stylized as “E•MO•TION”) is the second song and the title track on Carly Rae Jepsen’s third album, "E•MO•TION" (2015).
Was co-written by songwriters and composers Ben Romans and Christopher J. Baran, formerly of the popular early 2000’s rock group, The Click Five.
Carly pretty much wants her ex-boyfriend to wish upon a star to get her back. She wants him to dream about how good they could’ve been and would’ve been if they never broke up. She wants this emotional state of mind his in to drive him so crazy to the point where it makes him regret their break up.
This song was released as the second promotional single off the album.
