What was that 'legendary' gig they did where the crowd was so into it, that Jimbob thought we could all storm parliament and bring down the government? Town & Country Club in '92, maybe? I'm glad I was there when the band was at its absolute peak.

They're not unpopular, back in the day they had no.1 albums and numerous top 40 hits, their reunion shows of a few years back regularly sold out in no time at all. But most of their fans are probably of a certain age, a lot of this early 90s indie stuff has been swept under the carpet by the media and a younger generation will just be unaware of them.

The album art truly is horrible, especially the 1992 album, looks like a fucking eurovison song contest bullshit. But it kind of makes it even better

Is the name a reference to Jimmy Carter's infamous comment about looking at a woman with lust being adultery?

ust found out about this, and im not much into pop music, but i really enjoy this group. The song "A Prince In A Pauper's Grave" is super badass, it's pretty dynamic.

I remember my dad wearing the long sleeves all the time when I was kid, used to love the music! Still do, rediscovered in my GCSE year at school!

Well I remember Micky Doyle, he shuffled off this mortal coil with no message for "that special girl", just thank you and goodbye cruel world, then for the sake of Auld Lang Syne, he put his head on the railway line, looked up at the morning sun and waited for the train to come........
