After about half of year passed, I can say, Cat Rapes Dog is mediocre at first look. And it would stay there if I didn't check out "People As Prey". And then, surprisingly, some songs hooked me. I mean, "How the Country Falls" and "Doomed". Really nice ones, especially this first one which is strong highlight for this band. EBM intro, then industrial metal guitars, and then... synthpop / disco vibe. Jesus. But despite being weird, it's just wonderful.

Incredible band, I highly prefer their old material with the old singer, but they are pioneers nevertheless, and they have such clever and sarcastic lyrics.

Cat Rapes Dog was one of the bands that got me into industrial music in the late 80's/early 90's. They rule!
