Biography

In the beginning, being members of different local Chicago-land based music groups, the members of Cereboca have often found themselves playing different shows together. Forming a local Super-group between the guys, was something often talked about, but never happened. Until a fateful day in the fall of 2008, the members of Cereboca cracked open their first beers together and made their talk of becoming a local Super-group a reality. Each member of the band has been impacted by different musical genres as well as musical influences. With the Irish trio, departing from their former bands and focusing on becoming a force to be reckoned with, lead singer and guitarist Fuzzy, bassist and vocalist: Bull and drummer and vocalist: Moons hit the path hard that will change local music forever.
With undying drive and determination, the band now known as Cereboca set their goal and have been moving non-stop at reaching what they set out to do. Three (3) months after Cereboca was born in the fall of 2008, Fuzzy, Bull and Moons wrote five (5) ear filling songs that enforced their belief that their band was taking the shape it needed. With their first three (3) songs, 'Nawbridge', 'Leavin' and 'The Lie' being written, the reality of Cereboca had been solidified and they had continued to write music. With many evolving songs in the air, Cereboca hit the recording studio to record a demo to keep the momentum running strong. While recording their music driven by lead guitar and vocalist Fuzzys multifaceted lyrics, bassist, Bull, had featured his bluesy-punk singing style in a song called 'Chi-town', while drummer, Moons, drives his high-ranged mature-pop vocals to a new song named 'Some Reason'.
During their 4th month as Cereboca, recording was completed and the distribution of their first three (3) song demo, including 'Nawbridge', 'Leavin' and 'The Lie' was being distributed. About a month later, they had found their demo had taken them to a sky-rocketed level that the three (3) Chicago-land musicians had aimed for. Opening a show for Hinder and Traped at a well known Milwaukee venue called 'The Rave'.
With the fire still driving them to create music, the band decided to hit the recording studio once again, but this time, to record a full-length album. After hard work and dedication, Cereboca had completed their first album titled “Fight A Stranger In The Alps”.
Playing shows at 'The Double Door', The 'Elbo Room', 'Jesse Oaks' 'Dublin O'Sheas' and countless others, Cereboca was playing the songs off of their album as well as new songs they have been continuing to write. Being a Fan-First Musician-Second band, They keep the crowd in the mix of the show with their constant crowd interaction and funny on-stage antics.
Through 2009 and 2010 Cereboca continues to play venues, building their fan base while continuing to write new music and will be hitting the studio in early 2011 to keep their music fresh for their fans.
