Biography
Zimbabwean born Chantelle Nandi is one of the freshest and most soulful artists to come out of the UK. Inspired by South African musical heroes such as Miriam Makeba and Hugh Masekela she began to write her own songs. Now at the age of 20 she has captivated audiences with her individual blend of soft, soothing melodies, emotive lyrics and powerful vocal expression. Her dynamic and graceful voice is known to silence crowds, whilst gracing the stage of venues such as The Royal Festival Hall and Viva Viva. Performances have been acclaimed to be reminiscent of predecessors and her influences such as Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Luther Vandross and Ella Fitzgerrald. Her performance of self penned songs such as “Realisation” and “Love” have attracted audiences and drawn them to her unique presence.
