Biography
Chapter January started off as a duo project in 2007 with a mission to reinvent pop music. After a couple of shows and a whole lot of beers later, Chapter January grew to a full on band even more determined to get their name out.
On the 24th of December 2009 Chapter January won the DutchScene Awards for Best band national 2009.
On 1 January 2010 Chapter January wil release their new EP "It's morning now" with new songs that will rock your ass off. The EP will be released for free on their official website www.chapterjanuary.com with 2 bonus tracks.
Chapter January exists out of:
Mick: Guitar/Vocals.
Wijnand: Vocals/Synths/Samples.
Marc: Guitar/Vocals.
Erwin: Bass.
Guido: Drums/Samples.
An energetic show, catchy riffs and bashing drums is the least you can expect from them.

Making use of samples such as synth-lines and beats to enrich their music, people tend to be pleasantly surprised about all the different influences incorporated to their music.
Now with a couple of big shows behind them such as, main stage Artquake Open Air, they are working on finishing their first album called It's Morning Now. The album will include a dozen CJ songs and a cover. It's Morning Now will be out soon, though no date can be set yet since writer Mick is always finding ways to improve the songs.
Still on their original quest Chapter January is out there, waiting for the perfect moment to strike!
