Do they have anything else similar to Her and Cigarettes? I love that song but I have trouble getting into most of the other stuff I've heard. Is that their only acoustic release?

Haven't heard much of this band yet, but I like what I hear enough to go to their concert on the 13th. I went to Touche Amore tonight and their singer Jeremy was praising this band. It's a rarity when two great bands like Touche Amore and Cheap Girls visit fucking Montana within a week.

Driving to class today blasting My Roaring 20's thinking "Man, wonder if they have a new album..." ...I can't believe I didn't know about it. Briskly purchasing as sonic speeds atm

The new album just finally clicked, it definitely takes a few listens. The fact that I've had a few drinks is contributing as well no doubt. Best album of 2012 so far for me.

Yeah, I had to remind myself that I didn't love My Roaring 20s at first either, but now it's one of my favorite albums. Giant Orange will probably get better with repeated listens - right now some of the songs seem sort of same-y. I guess that's true with most albums, though. Everyone judges things too quickly, including me.

So stoked to finally get Giant Orange. Ian Graham is undoubtedly one of the best lyricists working today. Absolutely amazing.

Man, they sound JUST like Bivouac. Same three piece, same sound, same guitar, same song structure; it's uncanny.

I haven't heard "My Roaring 20s" yet, but "Find Me A Drink Home" is really great. It sounds like what would happen if Dinosaur Jr. had sex with The Posies, which is a neat concept. For everyone interested, this blog has a b-sides collection and an acoustic version of "Find Me A Drink Home" for download. You should all check it out! It's great to know that raw, earnest and, most importantly, unpretentious rock still exists. They need to tour the NY metro area!
