According to the Oopsy Daisy Songfacts, this is the first song Chipmunk has done that has targeted his female following. He told The Daily Mirror that he recorded it, "to give something back for all the love they've given me."
Eighteen year old Brit rapper Chipmunk A.K.A Jahmal Flyffe, scored his biggest UK hit single to date with 'Oopsy Daisy', on which he employed the vocal talents of relatively unknown British singer Dayo Olatunji. The track rocketed to the top spot in October 2009 as the follow up to his debut top 10 hit 'Diamond Rings'.
