CLEAVERS: A Scottish garage punk band formed in early 2011 by members of Urgent Blood, Genetic Mutation and Atomgevitter through small town boredom.
Armed with a cheap mixer and a free recording program they quickly wrote and recorded their first EP which was produced completely DIY and hundreds of copies given away.
They've toured the UK from tiny living rooms, basements and wood-panelled pubs to mid sized venues, sold… a small mountain of t-shirts, printed several trees worth of stickers, been played on BBC Radio 1 and even been tipped as one of BBC Radio Scotland's Top 35 Scottish Artists to watch 2012.
Their incredibly energetic live shows include synths, erratic jamming and pop melodies in-between bursts of ferocious garage punk that sounds somewhere between Black Flag, Fucked Up and Jay Reatard.
