Pleasant and welcome change from the sugar and spice and all things nice he usually churned out, clever and catchy song

I have never heard this very beautiful version of "Carrie" before... I love all the extra guitar play , rather than all the vocals. XXXxxxxXXX . Karen. Ang. #~# .

I generally dislike Cliffy and am a little embarrassed to say - I like this song. I also like Devil Woman - but nothing else of his - I swear (2)

I am in total agreement with SammyJonas (Aug 2008). All I could remember was a few of the lines from a song by someone... Turns out it was "Carrie" by Cliff Richard. Remembering Devil Woman, hoped I'd find something else I liked . . . not yet. It took almost 30 years to track down "Carrie" - the internet is a wonderful thing,

Agreed. You won't catch me listening to much Cliff, but I remembered this song from the radio in the early 80s. It has a little bit more of an edgy feel for Sir Cliff.
