This album (especially the cd version with the bonus tracks) is like a gradual descent into a physical and psychological abyss, which gets darker and darker. You get to 'connection machine' and especially to 'the sonology of sex' where light has been completely sucked out and only pitch black darkness remains. I personally see it as consisting of three main big steps: the first four tracks are the first step towards the abyss; from 'the unseen' to 'the hacker' the second, where it is starting to get even darker; and the third step goes from 'connection machine' to 'the sonology of sex II', where only complete darkness remains; and 'the hacker video mix' is like some sort of end credits.

Wow didn't know Mr Newton and his DVAtion was still going. Was looking for the split band The Box on iTunes other day. Wortha spin

This is my number one favorite album. Front to back it does not disappoint for one second. One of the only albums I can listen to over and over and over again without getting tired of it at all.
