The drumming on Threshold is absolutely insane, some of the best I've heard this year so far. I love to hear someone beat the absolute shit out of their drum kit, but with tons of almost prog-like finesse as well. That actually is an apt description for the entire album: it is extremely visceral, but it also contains lots of subtleties. The sound is amazing as well, very natural.

As expected, "Threshold" is great. Their best effort yet. The sound is absolutely amazing - That fucking snare !

As someone who is deeply into Pollinator and Qlipthoth recently, Threshold is a much darker album overall.

The guitar tone in "Luminescent Cellar" is what real guitar playing should sound like

Why grindcore bands with female vocalists are so damn great all the time. AnB (as long as it lasted), Diploid, Closet Witch, Fluoride, Escuela Grind, Fuck the Facts, (even Vöetsek, crossover is fucking great too) and Cloud Rat obviously.

yes, it was about meaningless poop and dicks, not that the artists had fun with BDSM or coprophilia, it was simply a parody. atleast Now it doesn't make listener to look like creep, even I have hesitated and been ashamed to scrobble Noisegrind, Goregrind or Porngrind because of the repulsive themes. now it's about serious affairs like feminism and SRS and I like that better.
