@Shakermaker11 Have you only had sex with your wife three times or something? How on earth could you possibly know that precisely at what point your sons were conceived?

A few more words about this album: I love the way it's produced/mixed/engineered. Clutch has pretty much always gotten a good sound on their records, but this one sounds exceptionally good even by their standards. So many albums seem to miss out on the low end, but this one's got enough bass for ten records. And of course the most important thing, the songs are uniformly excellent. The title track, Ship of Gold, The Soapmakers, Muchas Veces, Wishbone, Eight Times Over Ms. October... man, this album is sick.

Amen brother! A little over seven years late to the party; this album deserves more recognition, considering how consistent Clutch truly is with every release! This for me is THE Clutch album.

agreed! Never get tired of the low end on this one. Feels appropriately thick and heavy, and such a nice mix of styles

As much as I enjoy their earlier work (mostly the self-titled, which is a stone cold classic), this one has really just stuck with me ever since I first got it on CD back in '98. I've listened to it countless times throughout the years and owned three copies of it in that time and I never get tired of it. There are at least five tracks on here that are among my favorite Clutch songs.

I have 3 sons. They were all conceived to songs from this album (Elephant Riders, Ship of Gold, The Soapmakers). \m/,

As soon as you start nodding your head or movin' your body, the time signature or the rhythm changes a little bit. Annoying, but fun at the same time.
