"Simple Music for a Complex Mind" has been released in 2001 as the first effort of this singular Utah songwriter. 2008 witnessed Colby Stead's third full length : So it Goes. And so it goes :
I don't know how much my songs are worth–emotionally and or financially–to you? On itunes you pay .99 cents for one of them. To some that is way too much and to others that is way too little. Here you can download as many of my songs as you'd like and YOU determine the value. I don't care if you download 20 songs and donate $3.00 or if you download 1 song and donate $100.00. The only care I have is that you care. These songs, like life, are far from perfect. Some are recorded professionally, with $20,000 microphones. Others are recorded at home with cars and birds in the background. Either way, I hope you can listen to the meaning and not just the sound. I appreciate your support and interest. Songs will constantly be added and replaced so feel free to visit often.
