Concrete Sox, Sacrilege, Amebix and Antisect (their '85 Out from the Void EP) are those who launched crust punk into existence. The last album 'No World Order' is perhaps my favourite from Concrete Sox, or at least on a par with split with Heresy and 'Your Turn Next'. 'Sewerside' and 'Lunched Out' EP are decent too.

Just got hold of the live split with Doom from Udine, Italy in 1989. Really great stuff from two killer bands.

Anyone know the source of the female vocals from the intro to Intelligence Quest?

Wow,i'm a top listener! infact i've always liked this band a lot! one of my favourites from the stenchcore/proto-crust era and one of the best example of crossover between trash metal and hardcore punk (aka: the beginning of certain crust) ever! even their lyrics were good and not stereotyped! wish i could play in a similar band!
