Both my brother and best friend told me the same thing. Before this came out, they were both not into it but that album changed everything. I think the collaborative nature of that album with the extra melody helped bridge that gap for them.

was worried during the running-through of their catalogue that Jane Doe would be my only fav, then I got to this one :).

didn't really dig it as much as their other stuff at first, but it's really grown on me and I haven't been able to stop listening since I saw them live again

Good shit over all, but the album is front loaded. Last 2 tracks are filler and really leave for an anti-climactic ending after such a ripping opener. If the album ended moved Cutter after Slave Driver to be the last track, and dropped the last 2 filler songs, it would be a snappy ending that would make me want to listen all over again.

My favorite Converge album, for Kurt's production gives more heat to their apocalyptic ambiances.

i love the way the last two tracks ended the record off. I just wish there was a little bit more slow, crushing material in between.

Amazing album, even though I didn't know what to make of the soloing at first. Great to listen to while running :)
