Crackin' is a southern Connecticut underground hardcore/punk band. They contributed their song “Suck it Up” to a local compilation, along with 49 other Connecticut bands called the “CT Sucks Compilation”

Crackin' is also the name of a soul/funk band formed in the mid 1970's on the Warner Bros. label
They released three albums: "Crackin'" in 1977, "Makings of a Dream" in 1977 and "Special Touch" in 1978.
