Biography

Crash the Coast is a LA based Pop Rock/Powerpop band formed in the Spring of 2010. Vocalist/Bassist Thomas Gillmore put an ad up on Craigslist looking for musicians to join a band he had going with a friend (Andrew Cobian). In doing so he found Adam Hodson, a guitar player, who had just moved to LA from Miami that same year in January. Shortly after Adam Joined the band Andrew quit and the band was left with a decision…. Stop playing and act like they never met or continue on and find the members that would become Crash the Coast. The band found lead guitarist Jonathan De Ring (formerly of Orange, Victory Within) through once again a craigslist posting. The band found drummer Sean Kreisberg when Adam bought a new guitar amp off of craigslist and asked the seller if he knew any drummers and he gave the band Sean's #.

Adam and Tom had been preparing songs for a month or so; when the band was complete they got to work on refining those songs and recorded a two song sampler titled "Two Songs To Take Over The World", which featured the songs "Live Every Week Like Its SharkWeek" and "Throwdown for Your Hometown". The full E.P. release is scheduled for Fall 2010.

The band played their first show July 31 at Friar Tucks Bar and Grill in Pomona and most recently played at House of Blues Sunset strip.
