"Life With the Buffalo" is the first LP from Chicago songwriter Curtis Evans. The album is a follow up to his 2008 EP, "More Songs About Loneliness" and the second album that Evans has put out on Chicago's Grape Juice Records. "Life With the Buffalo" features 12 new songs that range from roaring rock n roll highs on "Sister," "Mark of the Beast" and "Windows" to desolate lows on "You and Me" and "Lion in Winter." The buffalo theme draws on parallels between Evans and the buffalo shown on the album cover. Recommended for fans of Neil Young, Sparklehorse and Townes Van Zandt.
