The instrumental alternative rock band Dietrich was formed in 2007 by producers Rodrigo Cursach (HAKINEN) and Hernán Corera (FRISCO). Inspired by the beat culture, they took on the alter-egos of FRISCO and HAKINEN respectively, and began recording tracks like “No me vas a olvidar” (You Won't Forget Me), “Primeras fotografías a color” (First Color Photographs), and “Helsinki”. To convey their vision of the band, they recruited musicians for the project's initial live performances.

In 2010, their first EP was released under the independent label Sadness Discos. They premiered a video for the unreleased song “Zentraedi”, which won awards in the U.S. and Spain, and released the single “Caballos de Fuerza” (Horsepower) digitally through Sadness Discos, including two new tracks, “Almirate Brown” and “Caballos de Fuerza”.

The current members include Rodrigo Cursach (HAKINEN), Hernán Corera (FRISCO), Nicolás Segura (KOROC), Miguel Mactas (MACOI), and Guido Loustau (WILLOW). Originating from Argentina and created in 2007, their genre spans Rock and Experimental. More information can be found on their Facebook page: facebook.com/dietrichba.

Dietrich is an Argentine musical-visual project founded in early 2007 by Rodrigo Cursach and Hernán Corera. During a trip to Brazil's coast in January 2007, the idea of creating a unique project in Argentina's music scene emerged, blending visual and musical elements. This concept aimed to be more impactful and important than its performers, encapsulating graphic, musical, and artistic elements. This is when Dietrich was born.

Back in Buenos Aires, inspired by North American beat literature and authors like Kerouac and Burroughs, they created their alter egos. With several compositions finished by mid-2007, they recorded “No Me Vas A Olvidar”, “Primeras Fotografías A Color”, and “Helsinki”.

Their first live show, "70 Seconds Before the Knockout", was a success. In 2009, Miguel Mactas (MACOI) joined Dietrich, leading to a reorganization of the band's structure. The current lineup includes Korok on drums, Macoi on guitars, and Hakinen and Frisco on bass, guitars, keyboards, and music production. In 2009, they performed seven times and planned to release their first album, “Interlaken”. The visual concept of Dietrich was created by Rodrigo Cursach and Hernán Corera, Director & Photographer.
