Biography
DJ Bruno (Perfect Groove Foundation/ Electrica/ UA) It all started back to 1990 from the tape with new kind of music Acid House. This made Alec to get deeper in the music and to start the mixing. First experiments took place in the private home parties and in the institute where Alec got his education. At that time there was no turntables in Saint Petersburg so all the mixing have been done on the tape recorders. In 1994 Alec organized his first party on his birthday with the guest list of 300 people. This party came with the understanding what an ecstatic feeling is to play for a crowd being on the same emotional wave!
In 1995 Alec bought his first records and became a resident at the first HOUSE club TUNNEL in Russia, Saint Petersburg. During his residency there he also played in other new clubs in town and all over the country. 1997 brought a new residency for a long 3 happy years at club MAD WAVE. At that time Alec produced his own Radio show, took part in different dance festivals and played at PUSSY club in Helsinki, Finland. In 2001 Alec got residency in new fashion club ABSYNTH in Saint Petersburg and started internet project about club culture PRO-DVIDJENIE.RU and organized a lot of parties under this label. In September 2003 Alec moves down to Kiev, Ukraine.
"I was not afraid to start my life once again and get new experience", says Alec. How true it is! He became a resident at the most fashionable and dynamic club of Kiev OPIUM DANCE CLUB. Next step was a job of PR director at Sound Planet venue where Alec also held monthly underground event Electrica. Alec doesnt stuck to exact style of music as it depends on the crowd and event. He plays a solid mixture of house, tech, electro and funky beats that drive the party! Hes been playing on one stage with DJs like Alex Gold (Extavaganza rec. UK), Carlos Campos (Barrio Latino, Paris), Luke Brancaccio (Bedrock, UK), Funkstar De Luxe, Anthea (Flying Records, UK), Anju Ridu & Wyth, Desyn Massiello (Yoshitoshi Records), Joey Negro (Jakkata, Raven Maize, Z Records, UK), Tom Stephan a.k.a. Superchumbo (Twisted US, Loaded UK), Martijn Ten Velden (Audio Drive, Toolroom records, UK), 16B (Sax on Wax, Alola), John Creamer & Stephan K (USA), Jaydee (First Impression, NL), Jamie Lewis (Purple Music, Switzerland), Ministry of Sound event with Mark Hughes, Matthew Bradley (Mashtronic, DE/ Eyezcream records, CA), Mark Knight (MoS, Toolroom records, UK) He was the first russian ukrainian DJ whos photo and article was printed in 2004 January issue of DJ Magazine (UK) after Alec took a part at the Official DJ MAG Party.
Now Alec is performing at different clubs and developing the club culture internet resources where he observes new releases and gives readers information about events, artists, labels and industry news from all over the world.
