Ramon Henrique Fernandes, known professionally as DJ Ramemes, is a Brazilian music producer known for his ability to create funk tracks with accelerated beats, deep bass and intense bases. His audacious music and bold compositions have left a unique mark on the Rio and Brazilian music scene.
Born in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro, Ramemes has Minas Gerais roots, as his parents are from Matipó, a small city in the Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais. He currently resides with his father, who owns a local bar, and contributes to the family business.
Ramemes' musical journey began as a joke in 2017, when he began creating funk tracks in a carefree way. Without any prior knowledge of music production, he ventured into the world of music with the simple intention of having fun and amusing his friends.
His music quickly gained prominence for its distorted aesthetics and frenetic base, which stands out in the Rio funk scene. By creating fast-paced beats that reach up to 200 beats per minute, Ramemes has gained a fan base and admirers who appreciate his unique and audacious approach to music.
One of the decisive moments in his career occurred when Maffalda and Gorky, renowned music producers associated with Pabllo Vittar, discovered and became enchanted with Ramemes' work. They selected one of the many bases he had created to collaborate on the project that would become "Calma Amiga", a striking track featuring Anitta and Pabllo.
Ramemes, despite his successful trajectory, maintains a humble approach to his music. He continues to hone his craft from the kitchen, where he began his musical journey. His commitment to unlimited creativity is evident in his work and the unique approach he brings to the world of Rio funk.
Currently, DJ Ramemes is committed to creating an EP in collaboration with Maffalda and MC Myres, demonstrating that, from his modest space and his passion for music, he continues to break barriers and innovate in the Brazilian music scene.
