If you want to know more about Danny, all you have to do is listen. Every song reveals a small slice of his life. A stylistic journey of personal reflection peppered with the people, places and events that inspired the songs. Diverse and clever, uncensored and unashamed, Danny delivers a rare piece of reality to your stereo speakers (or your ipod) with a poignant, and sometimes disturbing level of honesty. There's a certain familiarity that engages the listener and invites you into his world. It's equal parts 'old soul' wisdom, childlike wonder, teenage angst and midlife crisis. Difficult to classify, his sound is best described as a genre busting smoothie of sound that begins with a blues rock base then, depending on the song, blends layers of power pop, anti-folk, piano man, post punk, alternative fringe, funky hip-hop beats and samples, heady effects and a frothy mix of ethereal noise making. It's a melodic mash-up offering a variety of flavors with something on the menu to satisfy every listener while at the same time leaving you hungry for more.
