Biography
Dave Edwards is a seasoned professional musician with extensive experience onstage as well as in the recording studio. He has written and recorded commercials, film scores, and pop songs. His country-rock band was signed to Capitol Records in 1990. Dave's original music spans Classical, Smooth Jazz, Ambient/New Age, and Pop styles.
Dave began playing piano professionally at a local pizza parlor as a teenager. He studied classical and jazz piano at the University of North Texas, and afterward played in rock groups, country dance bands and lounge acts. His country-rock band, Stallion, was signed to a development deal by Capitol Records in 1990.
After a bout with hand problems that kept him from playing for a decade, he returned to music in 2004. Dave is currently concentrating on writing and recording, focused on pursuing his interrupted music career.
